Audi A6 Saloon is crowned best premium executive car in Parkers new car awards

  • Audi A6 Saloon 2.0 TDI S line topped Premium Executive Car category, based on the calculations of Parkers cost of motoring tool

The Audi A6 Saloon can now add the Best Premium Executive Car Award from leading car buying website parkers.co.uk to its honours list. 

Parkers’ New Car Awards are judged by the results of the ‘cost of motoring tool’, which visitors to the site can use to calculate the costs of buying and running a new or used car, taking in to account all of the costs such as servicing, showroom tax, fuel consumption and depreciation.

Commenting on the award, Editor of Parkers, Kieren Puffett explained: “To win the Parkers Cost of Motoring New Car Award for the Premium Executive category, the winner not only needs to be desirable, well-equipped and engaging to drive, but also deliver compelling value for money. The Audi A6 2.0 TDI S line ticks all these boxes and the facts clearly show it delivers the best value in class, beating some very stiff competition.”

Prices for the A6 Saloon start from £30,145 OTR (2.0 TDI 177PS manual SE model) and go to £46,160 OTR for the top of the range 3.0 BiTDI 313PS S line.

The 2012 Arrival of Volkswagen Passat 2.5 SEL

 

 


This, the Volkswagen Passat 2.5 SEL was released with great fanfare. It was also named motor trend's car of the year.
